Pondr Tips

Crafting your perfect edition

Tips and tricks to get the most out of your monthly reading curation.

Curate with Precision

Use the Must Print button to guarantee an article makes it into your next issue. Conversely, use Excludeto skip articles you've already read or don't want in print.

Deadlines & Edits

You can make changes to your selection up until the 10th of each month. We freeze the batch then to prepare for printing and shipping.

Keep a Full Buffer

Keep more content in your Instapaper than fits in your edition. This gives our algorithm more options to fill your reading time perfectly without gaps.

Algorithm & Gaps

If your shortest article setting is too close to your longest, it's hard to fill exactly 60 minutes. Try ensuring your Shortest Text is significantly less than (Edition Time - Longest Text) to let small articles fill the gaps.

Known Tricky Content

Articles with wide code blocks or massive tables (like some Wikipedia pages) can be challenging to print beautifully. We are working on better support, but for now, they might look a bit raw.

If you would like to print an academic or esoteric article, it could be yield better results to save it as PDF. Carefully typeset academic PDFs are printed as is.

Preview Your Issue

If you want to play with curation settings or want to see how a difficult article would be typeset, you can preview the print issue for free. Once generated, they are served to you only and then deleted quickly.

Changing Shipping Address

Because shipping costs vary by country, we can't update addresses on active subscriptions. To change your address, please cancel your current subscription and start a new one with the new details.

Paywalled Content

Currently Pondr doesn't access paywalled content. We understand the importance of supporting authors. We are working on a solution where you can provide access to your paid content and it would stay only yours.

Analog Experience

There’s something special about reading offline. We recommend reading Pondr with a pen in hand to underline & annotate. Enjoy the analog experience.
